MY STRÖM · 2025/2026
Multidisciplinary experience
DECEMBER 2025 & FEBRUARY 2026
With My Ström, Les Passagées turned to the liquid flows that inhabit and pass through us. In a world that hardens, closes off, and becomes impermeable, how can we relearn to be porous : to ourselves, to others, to the living?
From Edgar Allan Poe’s A Descent into the Maelström, a subtle source for the entire piece, to the liquid creations of Michelin-starred chefs Hugo Roellinger and Willem Hiele, My Ström provokes a dive: consenting to the engulfment, even to the point of brushing against the dark pupil of the cyclone, while also absorbing brews that open new dimensions.
At the confluence of art and science, Charlotte Charbonnel’s installation and videos track the hidden poetry within natural phenomena. The supports, lifts, and swirling power of Gilles Polet and Arno Ferrera embody the energy of matter, dancing with and around Kyklos, the visual artist’s "vortex" work. Meanwhile, the waves of Barbara Drazkov’s prepared piano, Japanese drums, and Tsubasa Hori’s voice sculpt the marine contours of the soundscape in real time.
Interpretation, modulation, adaptation, dialogue, and traversal: the liquid path thus forged is endlessly redrawn, just as it is shaped by the audience’s wanderings.
